Roofless & Exposed: Our greenhouse took a hit!

Remember those nasty winds not too long ago? Well the greenhouse was not a fan. Tore off the entire plastic roof. One more thing has been added to the honey do list!

Maple season has arrived. We’ve only had an initial boil and a little bit of collecting today. Hopefully we will be boiling again tomorrow and actually be able to can. We are out of many sizes of maple syrup right now so it will be good to replenish it.

Have you done your seed shopping yet for your garden this summer? Just a gentle reminder that we are offering 20 rare/heirloom dried bean seeds for you to plant in your own garden. Check them out here.

We are putting the finishing touches on the season. You will see us at the same farmers markets as last year but we will be there more often. Last year we increased our revenue from 2023. We have a goal to increase it again this year so one of the ways will be attending more markets.

Spring is coming. For me that means time to come out of hibernation. I’ve got plants to transplant. That’s it for now.

Your farmers, Michelle & Keith

P.S. If you want a little history on the dried bean seeds we have before purchasing, check out this little booklet I put together which describes them in more detail.

P.S.S. If you know of anyone who would benefit from this blog, please forward it to them.
