About Us and Our Farm

Hello: Still Seeking Farm is owned and operated by Michelle and Keith. The name? Two-fold actually. For the longest time, I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life. I finally found out. Second, we started farming on 2.75 acres. So we were “still seeking” that bigger piece of land. Well in January, 2011 we moved to Gilmanton, a 15 acre parcel. We bought the property for the land, as the house needed a lot of work.

Our farming practices are organic. We are now following the Bionutrient Food Association’s practices, which we like to call a step above organic. We feed the soil to increase the nutritional value and the natural sugar content in the vegetables and fruits we grow.

Currently Still Seeking Farm is farmed full-time by Keith while Michelle works part time. We make maple syrup as well and we have an outside garden and 2 large greenhouses.

About 5 years now, we downsized from growing on 3 acres, selling at 3 farmers markets a week and having a CSA. We now grow food for our family, sell to Gilmanton’s Own and on occasion one restaurant. Michelle continues to put up lots of food for the winter. So this blog will be about our farm, preserving the bounty and the farm’s happenings throughout the year.

In May 2022 we purchased a Harvest Right freeze-dryer and boy and boy this is a game changer.  Follow up to see what we are preserving in there along with what we are canning.
