We had an awful carrot season this year. Carrots wouldn’t size up no matter where we seeded them this year. Three different beds. We had really bad rust fly where we had to toss lots of carrots as we were cleaning them.
But for next year, we are prepared. We’ve already purchased row covers and will have to cover each row we seed of carrots. We shall see if this solves the problem.
Good news this year was not one tomato hornworm could be found. We closed the walls of the greenhouse before dusk every single night. We will definitely do that again next ye
