Strawberry Plants
We just finished planting 2,000 strawberry plants. These are full size plants so by planting them in the fall they can get established and you get a full harvest in June. Conventional methods have you planting in the spring, waiting a year and then getting the bounty. We can’t wait to offer nutrient dense, chemical… Continue reading Strawberry Plants
Garlic Time
We haven’t posted in a while. We’ve been really busy trying to deal with this crazy weather. We also picked up another market on Wednesdays, here in our home town of Gilmanton. Just planted in the garlic some spinach and our last seeding of green beans. Beans have been a struggle this year for us… Continue reading Garlic Time
Well it seems that everything survived the rain, the wind and the cold. Hard to believe. Now we have 90 degree weather. What a roller coaster ride. We’ve put all the tomato plants in, 300 of them. We survived

Here we go…
Got to play around with the new bed former/plastic layer today. Here we are preparing the beds before putting the plastic down. Here’s a picture where we started planting onions. 100 down only 1,100 more to go!
What we’ve been up to
It’s been a while since we’ve posted. Last weekend we trimmed the blueberries. Our hired help started working so that has helped us along with chores such as splitting wood for next year’s maple syrup season. More trees have been cut down along the stone wall – this wood will be for next year’s firewood… Continue reading What we’ve been up to
A Year in Review
As I went through pictures from this past year, I realize we really did accomplish a lot this year. We got to use our new evaporator and hood for maple syrup making (even though the season was not that long because of the weather). We finished the drainage around the garden to help with the… Continue reading A Year in Review
Green bean seeds anyone?
Ok just got box 1 of my seed order today from Johnny’s. I lifted it up saying to myself boy is this heavy. I opened it up expecting to see all of my seeds but it only contained one package of seeds, 25,000 seeds of Provider green beans. Meant to order 5,000. Anyone want any… Continue reading Green bean seeds anyone?
